Hallinden
Project and objectives
The Hallinden industrial park in Lysekil has to be developed further in order to meet the needs of the companies based there. The objective is also to create new sites for housing. The area is currently surrounded by steep rock faces and consists primarily of agricultural land. On behalf of Lysekil local authority, Geosigma has carried out a detailed geotechnical investigation and an overall rock and fracture survey (in the Hallind 3:3 and 5:3 properties).
The purpose of the analysis is to highlight the geotechnical and rock-related condition of the site. This will form the basis for the preparation of a detailed plan of the Hallinden industrial park and the possibilities of development there.
Description
Geosigma’s task consisted of carrying out geotechnical field studies and calculations, together with photo documentation and a geological survey of rock types, foliation directions and fracture systems.
